I am a graduate of Miami University, receiving my Bachelor's degree in 2001 and graduating cum laude. My major was Systems Analysis.
I have experience with both large and small scale IT projects from both the developer and the end-user sides.
My skill set includes working with ASP JavaScript, various Visual Basic derivatives, SQL, DHMTL, C/C++, PERL, and CGI.
Since 2001, I have developed several enterprise-level systems based on both Oracle and Sql Server databases. This development included client requirement analysis, database design & implementation, front-end development, coding, testing, and documentation.
Systems I initially developed for Butler County have been installed in 17 Ohio counties and are in process of being deployed in several other counties and State offices. Overseeing initial IT setup and end-user training for these installations has always been one of my responsibilities.
I am accustomed to working directly with both potential and end users by preparing and giving several types presentations dealing with existing and proposed systems. These presentations have included convention-level workshops at several Statewide and regional venues.
I am well organized with strong problem solving and communications skills. In addition to the normal Systems Analysis curriculum, I completed a number writing and communications courses while at Miami designed to hone my ability to effectively communicate with clients and potential clients. This, coupled with my previous experience as the CEO of a successful small real estate firm, has helped me develop the skills necessary to ask the questions necessary to obtain pertinent client information, analyze that information, develop solutions to meet the client's goal, and then communicate those solutions to the client in easily understood terms.

I am accustomed to accepting responsibility, working both with and through other people at all levels, and I am extremely self-motivated. I am accustomed to producing desired results on a customer-dictated schedule. I would like to think that, in a very short amount of time, I would become a very effective and valuable member of your team.
